Sky Dot is the blue colourway of the Dress + Shrug set — a powder blue pin-stripe slip dress paired with a steel blue shrug in handloom woven dot buti cotton. The shrug’s cuffs and full inner lining are in the same sky-blue pin-stripe as the dress. The detail that makes them a set.

The Dress

Fabric

Two cottons: sky blue pin-stripe (dress + shrug lining and cuffs) and steel blue with handloom woven-in white dot buti (shrug outer). Lightweight, breathable, warm-weather ready.

Craft

Handloom woven-in dot buti on the shrug outer — the white dots are supplementary weft threads woven into the steel blue ground. Not printed. The texture is in the fabric.

Care

Hand wash cold. Wash separately first time. Dry in shade. Iron on reverse on low heat.

The shrug outer is in a steel/denim blue cotton with all-over woven-in white dot buti — the dots are integral to the weave, raised and textured, not a surface print. The shrug’s lower section has a contrasting panel. The stole is in cream/off-white, attached at the collar seam of the shrug.

White chunky sneakers (as shown) — the blue-and-white palette with clean white footwear reads confident and fresh. Pearl studs (as shown) are exactly right — quiet against a blue that doesn’t need help. The stole (cream/off-white on the reverse side) can be: draped diagonally across the front and held, thrown over one shoulder, or wrapped loosely at the collar. For a more elevated look: white block-heel mules, gold studs, small white tote. The set breaks apart: wear the shrug over a white or ivory mini dress. Wear the dress alone under a denim jacket for a double-blue layered look.

Handloom woven-in dot buti on the shrug outer — confirmed supplementary weft weaving technique. The small white dot motifs are woven into the steel blue ground during the weaving process, creating a raised, textured pattern that is integral to the fabric structure. WASH CARE

Hand wash separately in cold water with mild detergent. Wash both pieces together. Do not wring. Dry flat in shade. Iron on low-to-medium heat on reverse. Do not bleach. Steel blue outer may run slightly in the first wash — wash separately from whites the first time.
